On 21st January 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting 40 enthusiastic students from Wayamba University of Sri Lanka at the Lanka Mangrove Museum.

The students explored our exhibits and were captivated by the beauty and importance of mangrove ecosystems. It was heartening to see their curiosity and engagement as they learned about the critical role mangroves play in protecting coastal environments and supporting biodiversity.

We hope this visit inspires them to take action for mangrove conservation and to share their newfound knowledge with others.

On November 25, 2024, 55 members of the Elders’ Society from Ekala visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum. They explored exhibits showcasing the importance of mangrove ecosystems, gaining valuable insights into environmental conservation and sustainability.

On November 23, 2024, 55 students and 6 teachers from Kurunegala Rathvita Vidyalaya visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum. They explored exhibits showcasing mangrove ecosystems and learned about their critical role in conservation and sustainability.

On November 23, 2024, 37 Environmental Pioneers and 5 teachers from Kirimetiyawa Sri Sumanasara Maha Vidyalaya visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum. They explored the exhibits, gaining valuable insights into mangrove ecosystems and their importance in conservation.
