Educational Tour to Lanka Mangrove Museum Inspires Hundreds of Students and Teachers
Pambala, 9 May 2025 — The Lanka Mangrove Museum welcomed a vibrant group of 340 students and 25 teachers on May 9, 2025, as part of a large-scale educational tour aimed at fostering environmental awareness and conservation knowledge among young learners.
Hailing from various schools across the region, the students eagerly explored the museum’s interactive exhibits, which showcase the ecological significance of mangrove forests, their role in coastal protection, and their contribution to biodiversity. Guided by the museum’s educational team, the students engaged in informative sessions, watched documentaries on mangrove ecosystems, and participated in discussions on conservation strategies.
