On the 1st of August 2025, a group of enthusiastic students from Karavitagara Vidyalaya, Chilaw, embarked on an educational journey to the Lanka Mangrove Museum. The visit aimed to enrich the students’ understanding of mangrove ecosystems and their critical role in environmental conservation.
On the 29th of July 2025, the Lanka Mangrove Museum welcomed a vibrant group of 254 students and 40 teachers from Mahanuwara Gothami Balika Vidyalaya. The visiting students, ranging from grades 6 to 9, were given a unique opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits and gain a deeper understanding of Sri Lanka’s precious mangrove ecosystems.

On 24th July 2025, the Lanka Mangrove Museum (LMM) hosted the field visit of the 3rd International Coastal Management Studies (ICMS) Programme with the participation of 35 individuals.
