On June 28, 2025, the “Together With Mangroves” Children and Youth Environmental Society carried out a special observation study around the backyard of the Lanka Mangrove Museum. This hands-on learning activity was designed to deepen the students’ understanding of the local mangrove environment and foster a stronger connection with the ecosystem they are committed to protecting.

On April 4th, 2025, the “Together With Mangroves” Children and Youth Environmental Society proudly kicked off Phase II of their mangrove planting project! 💪💚

This new phase aims to plant 2,000 mangrove seedlings along the scenic Dutch Canal, continuing their mission to restore and protect our precious ecosystems. The team began the day with fresh energy and determination, showing once again how youth can lead the way in environmental action. 🌿✨

The “Together With Mangroves” Children and Youth Environmental Society at St. Xavier’s National College has taken a giant step forward in its mission to protect the environment.
