LMM’s awareness program for Ruhuna Explorers Club undergraduates emphasizes mangrove ecosystem conservation and environmental education.

On their visit to the Lanka Mangrove Museum, students from Urapola Central College participated in an enlightening awareness program designed to foster a deeper understanding of mangrove ecosystems. Through engaging sessions and hands-on activities, students learned about the importance of mangroves in biodiversity, coastal protection, and combating climate change. The program emphasized the need for conservation and sustainable practices, inspiring the younger generation to become ambassadors for environmental preservation.
