Teachers and Students from Pasdunrata National College of Education Visit Lanka Mangrove Museum
On February 6, 2025, the Lanka Mangrove Museum (LMM) welcomed a group of teachers and 27 students from Pasdunrata National College of Education, Kalutara. The visit was a part of their educational field study, aimed at enhancing their understanding of mangrove ecosystems and their significance in environmental conservation.
Upon arrival, the visitors were greeted by the museum staff and given an introductory session about the role of mangroves in coastal protection, biodiversity conservation, and climate change mitigation. The session emphasized the crucial role that educators play in spreading awareness about environmental conservation.
