Visit to the Lanka Mangrove Museum
On 29 September 2026, a group of students and lecturers from Wayamba University of Sri Lanka visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum and Learning Center.
During their visit, they explored the museum’s exhibits and learned about the importance of mangrove ecosystems, biodiversity, conservation, and the role of communities in protecting these valuable coastal environments.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing, education, and strengthening connections between the university community and mangrove conservation initiatives. 🌱🌊
We are pleased to welcome university students and academics who are interested in learning, research, and contributing to the conservation of Sri Lanka’s mangrove ecosystems.
