On September 15, 2023, Ms. Karen Peterson, the organization’s project manager for Sri Lanka and Ms. L.P. Batuwitage, the Seacology field representative for Sri Lanka, visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum. The staff of the Lanka Mangrove Museum warmly welcomed them and gave an overview on the museum’s its current progress level. Ms. Karen also kept an eye on the museum’s upkeep and operations, and she discussed with a few council members about how they could help the museum get better. The museum’s work was acknowledged by Ms. Karen and Ms. Leela, and we expressed our gratitude for their tremendous support during this crucial period in Sri Lanka.
