Following that, the students explored the museum’s interactive exhibits, which showcase various aspects of mangrove ecology, species diversity, and conservation efforts. Study traditional and modern conservation techniques, and understand the socio-economic benefits of mangrove forests for local communities.

The visit was an enriching experience for the students, The museum staff guided the group, answering questions and sharing insights on ongoing conservation projects in Sri Lanka.

The Lanka Mangrove Museum remains committed to raising awareness and educating future generations about the significance of mangroves. Visits like these are essential in inspiring young minds to take part in conservation efforts and advocate for the protection of these vital ecosystems.
