A Mangrove Conservation and Self-Employment Training Program jointly organised by the Puttalam District Secretariat office and the Lanka Mangrove Museum was held on June 28^th 2024, with the female participation of the Mampuriya, Sethapola, Palakudava and Thalavila GN Divisions. Here they were informed about the conservation of mangrove ecosystems. Also, as self-employment training, they were also educated about the production of different types of food using discarded fish
