Indian Volunteer Joins Mangrove Conservation Study Program
The Lanka Mangrove Museum warmly welcomed an international volunteer from India on 27 May 2026. The volunteer has joined a six-week educational and research program organized through AIESEC’s “Rooted” Project.
During the program, the participant will engage in various activities related to mangrove conservation, environmental education, and sustainable ecosystem management. The volunteer will work closely with the museum team, gaining practical knowledge and contributing to ongoing conservation and awareness initiatives.
This international collaboration provides an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange while strengthening global awareness of the importance of mangrove ecosystems and environmental protection.
We are delighted to host the volunteer and look forward to a productive and enriching six-week journey together.
