Students of Dankotuwa Balika Vidyalaya participated in an educational programme at the Lanka Mangrove Museum & Learning Center on 30 October 2026. The programme provided an opportunity for students to learn about mangrove ecosystems, their ecological importance, biodiversity, and the vital role of mangroves in protecting coastal environments.

The visit provided an interactive learning experience beyond the traditional classroom, encouraging students to develop a deeper appreciation of nature and a sense of responsibility towards environmental protection.
