The Lanka Mangrove Museum was visited by the some students of Janadhipathi Vidyalaya. The museum conducted an awareness session about mangrove identification and the importance of conservation. Participants in this program were urged by the museum to spread awareness of mangroves in their local communities. After seeing the exhibits, they visited the background mangrove cover and their science teacher wanted to provide them more information on mangroves. Teachers praised the museum for organizing these thought-provoking educational activities for the students.
