Mr. Ranjan De Silva, Principal of Ch/Karukkuwa Sugathananda Maha Vidyalaya has organized a Seminar for the grade 5 students and he chose the Lanka Mangrove Museum for host this program. He hopes to connect students with the museum. This program is a result of the earlier program at the museum for Chilaw Educational Zone Principals. Today, grade 5 students who are going to take the upcoming Scholarship Exam attended to this program and the museum conducted an awareness session that allowed them to obtain a general understanding of Mangroves. The students see the museum exhibits too.
