On the 13th of August 2024, an enriching awareness program for Dankotuwa Girls School was held at the Lanka Mangrove Museum. The event saw the participation of 54 enthusiastic students and 4 dedicated teachers.

During the visit, the students gained valuable insights into the importance of mangroves and their ecosystems. They also had the opportunity to explore the various exhibits at the museum, which deepened their understanding of the environment.
