On the 9th of April 2025, the Conservation Office in Halawata successfully organized an insightful and educational awareness workshop at the Lanka Mangrove Museum, specially designed for 104 students from Dhammissara National School.
The workshop served not only as an educational experience but also as an inspiration for the younger generation to become active stewards of the environment. Both students and teachers expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage with environmental issues in such a meaningful and hands-on way.
The Lanka Mangrove Museum continues to be a key hub for environmental education in the region, collaborating with schools, organizations, and communities to foster awareness and action towards a greener and more sustainable future.
