"Kindergarteners" from Deepthi Nursery & Day Care Center
Today, the Lanka Mangrove Museum welcomed a group of enthusiastic young learners from Deepthi Nursery & Day Care Center, accompanied by their teachers and parents. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore and understand the importance of mangroves in protecting the environment.
Guided by their teachers, the little explorers learned how mangroves help prevent coastal erosion, support marine life, and contribute to a healthier ecosystem. The parents, too, joined in, engaging with the exhibits and gaining valuable insights into mangrove conservation.
It was an educational and memorable day for all, as the visit sparked curiosity and awareness among both children and adults. Taking a step forward in environmental education, the experience highlighted the significance of protecting these vital ecosystems for future generations.
