ACTIVITIES OF “TOGETHER WITH MANGROVES” CHILDREN & YOUTH ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIETY – TAKING CARE OF THE MANGROVE NURSERY

The members of this Youth Society has done many activities on 13th July 2024.
They start with taking care of the mangrove nursery, which they set up on the museum grounds.
Following things were done:
- Cleaning the Mangrove Nursery
- Watering it
- Find out the damages and pests to the mangrove plants
- Measuring the mangrove plants growth
After that, they cleaned up the surrounding mangrove area and went on a observation trip around the Chialw Pambala Lagoon area.
