Undergraduate Research Student from the University of Peradeniya Visits the Lanka Mangrove Museum and Learning Center
On October 15, 2025, an undergraduate research student from the University of Peradeniya visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum and Learning Center to gather valuable information for her research project. Her study focuses on understanding key aspects of mangrove ecosystems and their role in environmental sustainability.
During her visit, the Museum Director, the Educational Officer, and other museum staff members provided their full support, offering guidance and necessary information to assist her research. The team also shared insights into the museum’s ongoing conservation and educational initiatives related to mangrove restoration and biodiversity protection.
