Students of Kanjukkuliya Primary School Visit Lanka Mangrove Museum
On 23rd August 2025, the Lanka Mangrove Museum warmly welcomed a group of enthusiastic students from Kanjukkuliya Primary School. The visit provided the young learners with an opportunity to explore and understand the vital role mangroves play in protecting the environment.
During the tour, the students were introduced to the exhibits showcasing the rich biodiversity of mangrove ecosystems, the importance of mangroves in carbon storage, and their role in protecting coastal communities from erosion and natural disasters.
