Concept of the Logo
- The distribution of mangroves in the world is restricted to a specific habitat that is the interface of the three systems, Land, Air, and sea/estuaries, where any other category of plants cannot grow there.
- The exceptional adaptations, eg. prop roots, stilt roots, etc. of mangrove plants to the extreme habitat, gives a unique architecture to mangrove vegetation.
- Mangrove fauna symbolized by the bird and the fish, and the mangrove flora, are mutually benefitted and indispensable.

- ලෝකයේ කඩොලාන ව්යාප්තිය, ගොඩබිම, වාතය, සහ මුහුද/ගංමෝය යන පද්ධති ත්රිත්වයේ අතුරු මුහුණතට සීමාවන අතර කඩොලාන හැර වෙනත් ශාකවලට එහි වැඩිය නොහැකිය.
