Environmental Learning Journey – 4th Group of Preschool Children Visit
On 27th February 2026, the 4th group of preschool children from the Giriulla Pradeshiya Sabha area visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum and Learning Center as part of an environmental education program.
This visit was organized in line with the new education reforms aimed at nurturing environmental awareness from an early age. During their visit, the children explored the museum exhibits and were introduced to the importance of mangrove ecosystems, biodiversity, and environmental conservation.
Through interactive learning and observation, the young students gained basic knowledge about mangroves and the role they play in protecting coastal environments and supporting wildlife. The program provided the children with a meaningful opportunity to connect with nature and develop an early appreciation for protecting the environment. 🌱🌿
