Children’s Society from Madampe Divisional Secretariat Visits the Lanka Mangrove Museum

On 13th August, the Children’s Society of the Madampe Divisional Secretariat, known as “ලමා සබාව”, visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum.
During their visit, the children had the opportunity to explore the museum’s interactive exhibits, which showcase the rich biodiversity and ecological importance of mangrove forests.

The educational program conducted by the museum staff allowed the young visitors to gain valuable knowledge about mangrove conservation, the role mangroves play in protecting coastal areas, and their importance for marine life.

This visit not only deepened the children’s understanding of the environment but also inspired them to contribute towards protecting and preserving mangrove ecosystems for the future.
