Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka — On August 16, 2024, 37 students and 6 teachers from Wendakaduwa Kanishta School participated in an educational awareness program at the Mangrove Museum. The program aimed to enhance the students’ understanding of mangrove ecosystems and their importance in environmental conservation.

During their visit, the students had the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits, which feature a comprehensive range of educational displays on various mangrove species.
