Students preparing for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination visited the museum with their class teacher. The museum held an awareness program for them about the mangrove ecosystem, and their teacher led a discussion with them about the special eco-friendly traditions associated with Sinhala and Tamil New Year, with the goal of developing their habits regarding nature protection.
