Environmental pioneers representing Dhammissara, Ananada and Shavier Schools participated in an awareness program conducted by the museum to upgrade their environmental education and conservation practices. The program was organized by the CEA Puttalam branch office in conjunction with World Environment Day 2023 celebrations. As part of the program, the students conducted a little field exercise to investigate the presence of ten species of mangroves in the background. As a result of the program, they were pleased and provided excellent feedback about the museum.
