SECOND DAY OF THE FIELD DATA COLLECTION PROCEDURE FOR RESEARCH BY SOME UNDERGRADUATES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF COLOMBO

Four University of Colombo undergrads—Rasanjana Aravinda, Thilini Bandara, Kishanthi Dharmasena, and Kavindi Premasiri—have enrolled in the BSc Honors in Business and Environment program. With the help of the Lanka Mangrove Museum, they have conducted their research related to mangroves and Chilaw Lagoon.

The required data has been gathered since February 12, 2024. They are in the second day of gathering data, and they have received great assistance for this endeavor from the Lanka Mangrove Museum. By performing this task, they were able to experience the mangrove ecosystem.
