A group of environmental pioneers  (beginner level)  from Lurdu Maha Vidyalaya visited the Lanka Mangrove Museum. A presentation in the auditorium and a trip to the actual mangroves behind the museum premises and provided this group with a comprehensive understanding of the mangrove ecosystem. Students were educated on each species of mangrove that can be found around Chilaw Pambala Lagoon by the Museum’s Director.
