120 students, Ch/ Senanayake Central College 

The museum specially conducted an awareness program for students studying in grade 11 of Ch/ Senanayake Central College related to the mangrove ecosystem with a very informative presentation. Their teacher also discussed with the students the importance of the mangrove ecosystem as well as they learned about to find out each mangrove species, their similarities and dissimilarities, and adaptations with the guidance of the Director of the mangrove museum. The objective was to help them prepare for the preparation of Ordinary level examination.
